Testimonial from Virtual Copenhagen Pride Week 2020: “It will be different than usual! We’re working with a number of digital formats that are new to us.”
Within a tight timeframe, we took on the challenge of making Copenhagen Pride 2020 a reality despite restrictions due to COVID-19. We aimed to make 2020 the best Copenhagen Pride yet, and pave the way for 2021 when Copenhagen is hosting World Pride.
We designed and built a virtual version of Copenhagen City Hall Square. It served as the main hub for all events during Copenhagen Pride, including talks, debates, commentary, concerts, and the pride parade. Everything was broadcast here.

More than 25,000 people joined the virtual event.
Copenhagen Pride produces activities and events for the LGBTQIA+ community and actively take part in relevant contexts that help to ensure visibility, understanding and tangible results.
Their flagship activity is the annual Copenhagen Pride Week in August, which is a celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community in the shape of a human rights festival with safe spaces and an environment where people are free to express themselves.
We were proud to partner with Copenhagen Pride on Copenhagen Pride Week in 2019, and support their work towards a more inclusive and safe world for all.
