OUR COMPANY HISTORY
2016 - IDEA
Our founder, Andreas Høgsberg, came across continuing challenge when strategising and facilitating corporate events for his many clients; it was very difficult to ensure content relevancy and streamlined knowledge sharing for all attendees throughout an event. This ignited the idea to Virtual Hive.
2018 - LAYING THE GROUNDWORK
With multiple comprehensive prototypes, we tested our product hypothesisses in real scenarios with real clients, most of who we had already helped many times with the strategy and operation of physical conferences and meetings. We confirmed the demand for a solution that could uphold a digital and effective knowledge sharing experience.
2020 - COMPANY START
Founded in Denmark, and with more than 20 years of experience in organising and facilitating physical events under our belt, we set out to create a digital 3D platform for virtual and hybrid conferences, meetings, and much more.
2020 - FIRST EVENTS ON PLATFORM
Our extensive knowledge of human behaviour to create immersive events that put experience first, amplified our ability to create successful virtual events, both large and small, partnering with household names such as the Carlsberg, Novo Nordisk, and VELUX.2020 - COVID HIT
Considering climate change, financial costs, and business efficiency, we expanded our business model and set our sights on creating a virtual product that would fully compete with a physical event in terms of emotional impact, learning efficiency, engagement, leads, and conversions – with greater data output.2021 - GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS
We landed multiple governmental contracts in Denmark and abroad. Up until this day, we continue the collaboration of virtual universes that serves as online visitor centers and meeting places for national and international stakeholders seeking information. In Denmark alone, we collaborate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, and the Ministry of Education, IT & Learning.
2023 - Today
Today, we stay close to our roots while facilitating connection and communication on a global scale. Virtual Hive is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, where we were founded, and we host virtual and hybrid events for organisers and attendees worldwide.
