Invite-only
Business-critical information and focused knowledge sharing is not necessarily meant for everyone, partly due geography, markets, and type of audience. Format
All event formats
Smaller meetings such as 1:1s is typically centred around relationship building while the software used is something that most organisations already have as part of their tech stack. When the purpose of a meeting is relationship building, the fostering of new connections, where we have the option to meet face-to-face, we, as humans, tend to prefer this. The same goes for larger formats that rarely occur, e.g. industry summits or congresses, there is implicitly a physical preference. If the sole purpose is to transfer knowledge, we prefer to have it done digitally.
Selected event formats
Focusing on educational knowledge sharing of product launches -and training to existing business relations sets a certain threshold for the size of the audience as it occurs on an ongoing basis thus the format is typically in the span of 'seminar' and 'conference' with more than 25 attendees from the start to the end of hosting a given event. This is not to say that both smaller and large audience sizes can happen but merely that there is a tremendous difference in building a platform for convention and expos vs. 1:1s and roundtables.

English
Usually the platforms are build around the English language with less options to cater content in other languages, e.g. naming different sections or navigational buttons in specified languages depending on where the given attendee participate from. It goes without saying that the language of the content itself is determined by the content creator which no platform can override.

In a global world with international activities and cross-border engagement, businesses already have a great variety of nationalities and diverse workforces which they need to engage in the most localised way, simply because personalised message consistency across an organisation increases the likelihood of pushing forward as one entity, in the same direction, at a faster pace.
Design
Branded 2D
Usually, it is a website extension centred around a screen sharing capability with the ability to customise logo, fonts, and colour palettes. This is great for branded interaction and flow of marketing content but does not persuade frame of mind nor feelings among the audience as it lacks the immersive capabilities to actually influence and engage the attendees, ultimately leading to more efficient knowledge sharing.
Animated & branded 3D
As technology advances, so will the variety of applications, but despite the fact that the technology is already here for fully immersive 'metaverse', the majority of people are not ready to invest in expensive equipment nor have the mental bandwidth requires to use it this the audience size is greatly limited which is why it makes sense to 'lock' 3D renderings so it feels like a highly dynamic 2D environment based on video. This greatly helps persuade frame of mind and feelings among the attendees.
Content
Same content for all
The advancement of sharing business knowledge has gone through different phases, especially over the past 20 years, from live & on-demand video universes with subscription options to collaborative screen sharing capabilities for online meetings, however, the presentation of the content itself remains the same; one-way, one-dimensional, and less nuanced. It still operates on the premise of 'cable TV' rather than focusing on the idea of 'streaming services'.
Recommended content
Attendees should be their own editors to increase content relevancy - think of it as a Netflix™️ for business content where you, as the organisation behind the content, has decided what to have on the 'shelves', in what order, and with what tags attached to it. This makes is easier for the viewer to find what is most interesting to them, and most importantly, what suits them best in regard to their goal and purpose of viewing the content in the first place.
Hybrid-view
Occurs simultaneously
Oftentimes the word 'hybrid' has been translated into an event that happens concurrently in a physical setting as well as in a digital presence. Typically, this has been through online activities and programs while attending a physical convention or conference. If executed well, it works fairly well, but is does not extend the runway before and after the event itself, where you could, respectively, let attendees circle around prior to event's start to let them shortlist the announced content for higher relevancy, and after the event, increase touchpoints with attendees and forward curated content based on specific engagement analytics.
Can happen unsynchronised
Virtual meetings can effectively contribute to physical events; they can kickstart, warm up, and extend the runway of an event. This makes it possible to showcase different content before, during, and after an event, which urges the understanding that 'hybrid' does not have to be either or. Up until now, this has been difficult to pull off as there has not been an efficient way, beside a static website, to collect and host knowledge sharing in one place, in an engaging way, that can be changed easily in correlation with shifts in market development, product enhancements, and customer preferences.

How do I sign up?
Choose a plan above to get started. We will ask you for a few basic contact details prior to a specialist call. This is your guarantee that the platform is suited to your specific needs. Then you’re in.
Do you have a service-level agreement (SLA)?
For teams with greater than 100 members, we can offer a custom SLA. Contact sales to learn more.
Can you customise a plan to me?
Yes. As we handle both the needs of small and large clients, we are used to customise plans to suit the specific business needs. Examples of customisation could be custom-designed environments (unique scenes), extra languages, differentiated content for specific segments, extra administrators, multiple parallel events, integrations, etc.
Is there a limit to the number of attendees I can invite?
Each plan comes with a number of simultaneous attendees/day included, and has its own maximum monthly attendee limit.
If you need more than 25,000 attendees/month, contact our sales team, to create a custom plan tailored to your business.
Can I get help in setting up the platform?
Yes. Each license has 'event help' included which is typically a good way to get up to speed on the capabilities of the platform, get inspired for visual layouts, getting an overview of how to structure the given event, and likewise. As we have organised events for +20 years, we can confidently strategise on your event, and can easily direct you to some of our trusted partners for further guidance.
How do I cancel my plan?
Your Virtual Hive license will automatically renew until you cancel it. You can cancel your subscription by contacting us on support@virtualhive.live. After you cancel, you’ll still have access to all the paid features until the end of your billing cycle.
